Pineville, La.-Louisiana College powered its way to a 98-76 win over the Eagles Saturday in American Southwest Conference play.
Ozarks (5-12, 3-9 ASC) held a narrow 17-15 lead at the 10:35 mark of the first half, but Louisiana College (5-8, 5-6 ASC) exploded for 36 points the rest of the way to hold a 51-32 intermission lead. Despite momentum on Louisiana College’s side, Ozarks narrowed the deficit to 55-52 with 13:27 remaining in the game. The Wildcats answered by outscoring the Eagles 43-24 the remainder of the contest.
Ronnie Dodd and Marcus Bobb each scored 16 points to lead Ozarks.
Ozarks will host Rust College January 23.
