Richardson, Texas--The Eagles (11-9-0) ended their season with a 3-0 loss to McMurry University (11-7-0) in the American Southwest Conference championship tournament in Richardson, Texas, on the campus of the University of Texas-Dallas on Friday afternoon.
It was a tail of two halves for Ozarks as the Eagles held the ball for most of the first half and out shot the Indians 8-7 in the first forty-five minutes of play. McMurry, however, scored all three of their goals in second half action. Craig Lay scored in the 64th minute to give the Indians a 1-0 lead. They would also score in the 72nd and 84th minute to secure the win. Ozarks ended the match with a 15-12 shot advantage. Will Brahic had a tem-best 6 shots for Ozarks. Goalkeeper Chris Schultz had 6 saves. It was Ozarks fifth straight appearance in the ASC post-season tournament.
