Clarksville, Ark.-The U of O Eagles remain undefeated at 5-0 with a 93-79 victory over Schreiner University last night.

With U of O trialing 14-16 at the 10:46 mark of the first half, the Eagles outscored Schreiner 30-12 in the next ten minutes to take a 44-28 halftime lead. Ozarks also held Schreiner to a dismal 32 percent from the field in the first half. “I think the big change was the fact that we cut off their offensive rebounds,” said head coach Matt O’Connor. “We controlled the boards the rest of the night. And if you look at our front line and our subs they all had big nights from the field which was big for us.” Ozarks held a 51-29 rebound advantage in the game. The Eagles had five players in double figures with Mandrell Howell leading the way with 17 points. Brent Gibbs and Geoffrey Owens each had 16 points. Brian Henderson scored 12 points and Ricky Johnson tallied 11 points. U of O will face Texas Lutheran at 3 p.m. in Clarksville on Saturday.
