Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles clinched a 69-60 American Southwest Conference win over LeTourneau University behind a balanced scoring attack Thursday night.

Four players reached double figures, and Marcus Bobb posted his third straight double-double for the Eagles (5-10, 2-8 ASC). Ozarks led by four points with 2:56 remaining in the first half only to see LeTourneau (1-12, 0-9 ASC) march back to tie the score, 27-27, 30 seconds later. The Eagles took a 28-27 lead into intermission on Jermery Victor’s free throw with 25 seconds left. Andre Williams opened the second half with a three-pointer, jumpstarting a 11-0 run in the first five minutes of the second half. The YellowJackets eventually pulled within 42-36 with 12:19 remaining. But another quick surge by the Eagles, this one a 10-2 run, gave Ozarks a 52-38 advantage. LeTourneau did get within seven points twice in the final seven minutes of the game but didn’t really threaten beyond that.

Victor led Ozarks with 15 points. Bobb had 14 points and 10 rebounds. Kasey Lewis added 12 points and Williams scored 10. Shawn Curtis pulled down 10 rebounds.

Ozarks will travel to Tyler, Texas, to face Texas-Tyler Saturday.
