Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles posted 16 shots and nine shots on goal, but came away with a 0-0 overtime tie against Concordia University Texas in American Southwest Conference action Thursday.
Ozarks (6-5-3, 1-3-2 ASC) will host Mary Hardin-Baylor Saturday at 3:00 pm. Seniors Marcus Aldaba, Cole DeVoss, Josh Duncan, Adrian Nunez, Eloy Salgado and Patrick Shoulders will be honored prior to the match as part of “Senior Day”.

The Eagles put pressure on the Tornado (1-7-2, 1-3-1 ASC) defense throughout the entire match, but couldn’t get any shots past Concordia goalkeeper Nick Martin. Martin came up with nine saves, including two big ones in the second overtime. Thomas Mills nearly ended the match with a goal in the 107th minute only to have Martin grab a ball just feet from the goal line. Ozarks recorded eight shots in the first half and then had three more chances in the second overtime. Ozarks also had six corner kicks. Austin Benner received his fourth shutout of the season.
