Seguin, Texas-Texas Lutheran scored 47 first half points and shot 57 percent from the field in a 95-69 win over the Eagles in Friday?s American Southwest Conference contest.
Texas Lutheran (5-3, 4-1 ASC) held a 37-20 lead with 6:22 left in the first half before the Eagles (2-6, 0-5 ASC) trimmed it to 42-32 with just over a minute to play. Ozarks hit 9-of-10 from the free throw line in the first half and Ronnie Dodd scored 10 points.
The Bulldogs owned the second half as it opened with a 10-2 run. Texas Lutheran continued to maintain a big lead in the second half and Ozarks made just eight field goals. The Eagles never cut the deficit below 20 points.
Dodd led Ozarks with 10 points. The Eagles committed 23 turnovers.
Ozarks will travel to Schreiner for an ASC game on December 10.
