Clarksville, Ark.-Josh Duncan scored a beautiful second half goal to propel the Eagles to a 2-1 win over NCAA II Harding University in an exhibition match Saturday.
Sophomore transfer Eloy Salgado got Ozarks on the board first by connecting on a penalty kick in the 32nd minute. Harding, however, evened the score, 1-1, with a goal about a minute later. The hard-fought match continued in the second half under typical hot August temperatures. Ozarks goalkeeper Neil Thompson knocked away a Harding shot over the crossbar in the 73rd to keep the game tied. Finally, Duncan broke free from a Harding defender for the game-winner in the 78th minute. Freshman
Shaun Keane received the assist.
