Clarksville, Ark.-Midfielder Josh Duncan made the most of his final home game scoring the game-winning goal in the 69th minute to secure a 2-1 win over University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Saturday.

Prior to the match, six seniors were honored as part of “Senior Day”, including Duncan who came through in the clutch. Mary Hardin-Baylor (3-8-2, 1-4-2 ASC) moved ahead 1-0 in the 34th minute even though Ozarks (7-5-3, 2-3-2 ASC) accounted for nine first half shots. Gage Merritt scored the equalizer in the 50th minute to put Ozarks in position to take a victory. Merritt controlled the ball in the box and turned and then ripped it past Crusader goalkeeper Blake Lender for his second goal of the season. With momentum on Ozarks’ side, Shaun Keane created an opportunity for Duncan, who finished with his right foot for the clincher. It was Duncan’s first goal of the season.
