The Department of Education announced a further delay to release batches of FAFSA information (ISIRs) to schools until the first half of March.

Douglas Joins Ozarks as Academic Support Coordinator

MaKenzie Douglas has joined the University of the Ozarks as an academic support coordinator in the Jones Learning Center (JLC). Her first day at Ozarks was Monday, Aug. 8.

Douglas most recently served as an academic advisor at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton. She also served a graduate school internship at U of O in the JLC, Registrar’s Office, and the athletic department during the summer of 2021.

A native of Clarksville, Douglas earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and criminal justice at Arkansas Tech University, where she was a three-time academic All-American on the women’s golf team.

She completed a master’s degree in student affairs administration from Tech earlier this year and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in educational leadership at Arkansas State University.

Douglas will be getting married on Oct. 1 to Regan McGaha. Her hobbies include golf, painting, drawing and outdoor activities.
