Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks baseball team cruised to a 17-3 win behind Curt Dixon's 11 strikeouts and completed a three-game weekend sweep against Principia College on Sunday afternoon in non-conference play.

<#IMAGE:1#>Dixon gave up just one earned run, and the Eagles (3-2, 0-0) gave him a big lead to work with as they produced nine runs after four innings of play. The Panther (0-3, 0-0) pitching staff had trouble slowing down the Eagles’ offense as a number of players got in the hit column for the second straight day. Ozarks exploded for five runs in the fourth, and then added four runs in both the fifth and sixth innings. Robby Finnell was responsible for three RBI and three runs. He finished the game 3-for-4 at the plate. Bruce Cameron scored three times and went 2-for-3. Jimmy Pannell was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI and Brad Broussard, Andrew Teaster and Todd Koch each collected two hits. The hard-throwing right-handed Dixon (1-1) pitched five innings to pick up his first win of the season. Ozarks will travel to Hendrix College to face the Warriors on Tuesday.
