“Discover Ozarks” scheduled for October 18

Clarksville, Ark. --- University of the Ozarks will hold its annual Fall Preview Day for prospective students and their parents on Saturday, Oct. 18.

The event, which is called Discover Ozarks, will include tours of the campus, sample classes and information sessions on such areas as academics, student life, study abroad programs, financial aid and athletics at the university. Students will have the opportunity to meet with faculty members, current students, coaches and financial aid officials during the day. Lunch will also be provided for the prospective students and their parents.

Registration starts at 8:15 a.m., and the event begins at 9 a.m. The day’s activities will conclude with a closing session at 3:05 p.m. There will also be an information session about the university’s Jones Learning Center at 3:30 p.m. for those who are considering the JLC program.

Those who are interested in attending are encouraged to pre-register by calling the Admissions Office at 479-979-1227.
