Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks junior pitcher Dana Marvin was named American Southwest Conference East Division Pitcher of the Week following her performance in three wins for the Lady Eagles softball team last week.

Marvin, a 5-10 right-hander from Cabot, had a dominating week in the circle, tossing a no-hitter, allowing four earned runs and striking-out 13 batters in three straight winning performances. Marvin opened with eight strikeouts in a no-hit six-inning performance in the Lady Eagles 5-1 win against Eureka College on March 10. She added a pair of ASC East wins during Ozarks’ four-game series against LeTourneau, allowing five walks and striking out five, to improve to 5-0 for the season. Marvin helped her own cause by going 6-for-11 from the plate (.545) in the games she started. Marvin is the team-leader in wins (5), strikeouts (26), innings pitched (34) and ERA (1.85).
