Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks men's and women's cross country team competed in the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Open September 27 at Little Rock's Rebsamen Golf Course.
Both the men and women finished seventh at the Open, which included NCAA I and NCAA II teams from across the region. Freshman David James finished highest for Ozarks in the 8K, running a personal-best 27:04.05, good enough for 19th. Samantha Puent had Ozarks best time in the 5K with a 23:59.02 run. She placed 34th. Ozarks will travel to Batesville to run in the Lyon College Invitational on October 2.
