Austin, Texas- Concordia University Texas scored 72 points in the first half en route to a 129-76 blowout win over the Eagles in American Southwest Conference play Saturday.
Concordia (2-1, 2-0 ASC) hit 25-of-44 (56%) from the field in the first half and had 39 points at the midway point. The Tornados then pumped in 60 points with five minutes left, and Ozarks (1-6, 0-3 ASC) trailed 60-15 at that point. The Eagles committed 20 turnovers in the first half.
Concordia kept its run-n-gun offense going in the second half, hitting 90 points within the first five minutes of the second half. Concordia led 102-49 with 11:50 remaining in the game.
Marcus Bobb led Ozarks with 20 points and 13 rebounds.
Ozarks will host Texas Lutheran December 5 and Schreiner University December 7.
