Chelsea Joslin Named Assistant Softball Coach

Clarksville, Ark.-Chelsea Joslin is the new assistant softball coach at the University of the Ozarks, it was announced by Athletics Director Jimmy Clark.

Joslin, a native of Claremore, Okla., returns to Ozarks after a record-setting four-year career. A first baseman and catcher, Joslin was among the elite power hitters in the American Southwest Conference from 2005-2008. She is second all-time in the ASC in home runs with 32. Joslin owns career school records in home runs, batting (.378), slugging percentage (.647), RBI (131) and total bases (281).

She was named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-Region Team in 2008 and was a four-time All-Conference player.

Joslin received her bachelor’s degree in physical education in 2008. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in kinesiology from UT-Permian Basin.
