Clarksville, Ark.-Central Baptist College fought off a Lady Eagles second half rally and held on for a 53-50 victory Saturday in non-conference play.

The Lady Mustangs (2-2) clung to a 30-23 halftime lead and then fought off a Lady Eagles rally in the second half to secure the game. Ozarks (0-2) shot better from the field and also outrebounded Central Baptist in the game, but struggled from the free throw line. Ozarks also committed more than 20 turnovers, while Central Baptist had 14 miscues. Tamara Wilkett had a big first half for Ozarks, hitting a pair of three-pointers and finishing with 11 points. Ozarks battled back in the second half, but the Lady Mustangs answered each run to escape with a three-point win.

Wilkett paced Ozarks with 18 points and made all three of her three-point shots. Taylor Farmer grabbed 13 rebounds and Kindra Davis had 10 rebounds.

Ozarks will travel to Conway to face Hendrix College November 20 and then will host Texas-Dallas in its conference opener November 24.
