Clarksville, Ark.-Bruce Cameron hit three home runs to lead the #24 Eagles past Lyon College 11-7 in a non-conference bout on Tuesday afternoon.

The Eagles (16-2) struck first when they scored two in the bottom of the first. John Glenn led off with a single to left field. Cameron followed with his first homer over the left field wall to make it 2-0. Robby Finnell later reached base on a single. Brad Broussard stayed hot and collected another double to score Finnell. Lyon (15-5) manufactured a run in the second, but Finnell got the run back for the Eagles when he hit a solo shot to right field in the third. In the fifth, Cameron and Cory Briggs hit back-to-back solo home runs to increase their lead to 6-2. Ozarks continued to flex its muscles in the seventh when Cameron sent his third home run over the left field wall, capping a career day for the junior from Houston, Texas, who finished 3-for-4 with 4 RBI. He now has five home runs and 25 RBI this season. Finnell followed with another solo shot in the inning, the sixth of the day for Ozarks. Finnell, the team-leader in RBI with 28, went 3-for-5 with 2 RBI.

Ozarks offensive outburst overshadowed a strong outing for starter DJ Braswell (2-0). The lefty went six innings and struck out eight to receive the win. He allowed two runs and gave up just one earned run.

The Eagles will travel to Richardson, Texas, to face UT-Dallas in American Southwest Conference play this weekend.
