Clarksville, Ark.-Mississippi College turned a 20-14 lead at the midway point of the first half into a 54-18 halftime lead to put away the Lady Eagles 91-55 in American Southwest Conference play Thursday.

Ozarks (5-13, 3-10) battled with the Lady Choctaws (16-2, 11-2) for the first ten minutes of the game before Mississippi College got hot and went up 35-16 with 5:38 left. Behind six three-pointers and 22 turnovers by Ozarks, Mississippi College extended their lead to 36 points at intermission. Olivia Fisher and April Young combined for 15 first half points, with Fisher scoring 10 of those.

The Lady Eagles scored 37 points in the second half, but it was all too late as they had trouble overcoming their large halftime deficit.

Fisher scored a team-high 17 points in the loss.

Ozarks will travel to Pineville, Louisiana, to face Louisiana College Saturday.
