Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles (5-7, 0-6) scored two runs in both the fifth and sixth inning to upend non-conference rival Hendrix College (7-9) on Tuesday afternoon at Hurie Field. Tuesday's win gave the Eagles their second victory of the season against the Warriors.

The Eagles scored the game’s first runs in the fifth inning when Anthony Brandon reached on a single and Justin Brown walked to give Ozarks a runner in scoring position with only one out. Brian Heckmann then ripped a single to score both Brandon and Brown and give the Eagles a 2-0 lead. Ozarks would tack on two more runs in the next inning of play after Bret Hays and Clint Phifer crossed the plate. The Eagles final score would come on a Hays single that scored Rusty Farrin. The Eagles pitching combination of Justin Dixon and Trevor Holbert held Hendrix to a combined five hits. Holbert (2-1) received the win after facing 22 batters and striking out four. Heckmann led the Eagles with two RBI and Brandon had a team-best two hits. Ozarks will host Louisiana College on Friday and Saturday in American Southwest Conference action.
