Richardson, Texas-A trio of Texas-Dallas pitchers combined for a five-hitter and a shutout to lead the Comets past the Eagles 9-0 Sunday in American Southwest Conference play.
Texas-Dallas starter Derek Dallas (3-2) struck out eight in seven innings of work and the Comets (9-8, 1-0 ASC) bullpen was effective as it did not allow a hit in the final two frames.
