Arkansas Symphony to perform Nov. 21

Clarksville, Ark. --- The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra will perform the family-friendly concert "Landscapes in Music" at the University of the Ozarks at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21, in the Walton Fine Arts Center on the Clarksville campus.

The concert is part of the university’s 2009-2010 Walton Arts & Ideas Series, which is titled Celebrate Arkansas. Tickets for the concert are $10 each and can be purchased by calling 479-979-1346.

"Landscapes in Music" is designed to be a musical event for children and adults of all ages.  Combining the worlds of classical music and art, this concert is sure to be a special memory for every single member of your family, from the youngest to the oldest.  This fun-filled afternoon includes a special "instrument petting zoo" where children can touch and play the instruments they see on stage. 

Now in its 44th season, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra delights audiences world wide with concerts and touring events. The symphony is comprised of the state’s most sought after professional musicians and is heard by more than 250,000 Arkansans each year.
