Arkansas Symphony to perform chamber concert Oct. 30

Clarksville, Ark. --- The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra will perform a chamber concert titled "Summer Vacation" at University of the Ozarks at 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 30, in the Walton Fine Arts Center.

The concert is part of the university’s 2011-2012 Walton Arts & Ideas Series. Tickets for the concert are $8 each and can be purchased at the box office on the afternoon of the event or by calling 479-979-1346.

The musicians scheduled to perform include Christian M. Baker (violin), Darby BeDell (violin), Andrew Irvin (violin), Daniel Cline (cello), David Gerstein (cello), Kiril Laskarov (violin), Ryan Mooney (viola), Geoffrey Robson (violin), Katherin Reynolds (viola), and Tatiana Roitman (piano).

Now in its 46th season, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra has delighted audiences world-wide with concerts and touring events. The symphony is comprised of the state’s most sought after professional musicians and is heard by more than 250,000 Arkansans each year.
