Clarksville, Ark.-U of O freshmen Marissa Andrade and Letty Trevino have earned American Southwest Conference East Division Players of the Week for their efforts in the Lady Eagles' two conference wins last week.
Andrade, a midfielder from Corpus Christi, Texas, boosted the Lady Eagles to back-to-back wins over the weekend. She scored the game-winning goal and recorded an assist in a 2-0 victory over Mississippi College on October 18. Two days later, Andrade recorded the games’ lone assist in a 1-0 win over Louisiana College. Trevino, a defender from Corpus Christi, Texas, paved the way for two shutouts in Ozarks’ two wins. Her strong marking against Mississippi College and Louisiana College allowed Ozarks to finish the season with three conference wins, fourth best in the league. Led by Trevino’s play, the Lady Eagles limited Louisiana College to only three shots.
