All-Conference Honors Announced

Clarksville, Ark.-Six women's soccer players received American Southwest Conference honors, announced Thursday by the league office.

Junior forward Lindy Swatzell, senior midfielder Katie Lien and freshman defender Kate Schoenhals were named to the ASC All-East Division Second Team. Junior midfielder Marissa Andrade, freshman defender Ember Smith and freshman goalkeeper Sarah Stratton were named to the Honorable Mention All-East Division Team. Swatzell, a native of Westwood, Kansas, led the team in goals (9), points (22) and shots (87) while tying for the team lead in assists (4). Her 87 shots placed her second in the league. Swatzell is a three-time ASC All-East Division Team member and was named to the All-ASC team as a freshman. Lien, a native of Salt Lake City, Utah, finished second on the team in points (12), goals (5) and shots (30). Schoenhals, a native of Salt Lake City, played in 17 matches and had four points. Andrade, a native of Corpus Christi, Texas, played in 16 matches and recorded 4 assists. Smith, a native of Allen, Texas, had 4 points in 18 matches. Stratton, a native of Harrison, started in all 18 matches for the Lady Eagles and ranked third in the conference in saves (143).
