Acting, directing classes highlight UofO’s Kids College

Clarksville, Ark. ---The University of the Ozarks will offer a variety of classes in the creative arts for school-age children during February, March and April as part of the university's on-going Kids College.

Among the classes scheduled include, On Broadway for 6th through 12th graders from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursdays beginning Feb. 3; Play Time, an introduction to acting, for K-2nd graders on the Mondays of Feb. 28, March 14 and April 11; Rising Stars for 3rd through 5th graders on Tuesdays beginning Feb. 1, with a performance on March 15; Show Time for 6th through 12th graders from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12; Play Days for 6th through 12th graders from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the Saturdays of Feb. 26, March 19 and April 23; and Festival of Poetry: A Celebration of Words for 4th through 9th graders from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 2. Enrollment fees for the classes range from $25 to $75. Class sizes are limited, so early registration is recommended.
