Award Recipients

Four University of the Ozarks faculty and staff members have been recently recognized for either 25 or 30-Year Service Awards by the University.

(Pictured from left) Steve Edmisten, special assistant to the president, reached the 25-year milestone at Ozarks, while Melodye Stickley, academic services assistant; Karen Schluterman director of human resources; and Dr. Frank Knight, professor of biology, each marked their 30-year anniversaries at Ozarks. All four will be honored with a certificate of appreciation as well as a gift from the University.

The University Service Award recipients are typically recognized during the April Board of Trustees Awards Dinner. However, since the Covid-19 pandemic has led to the cancellation of all campus events, the service awards will be announced to the campus community via email.

Service awards for 40 years will be announced in an upcoming email to the campus within a few days.
