The University of the Ozarks' Chamber Singers will perform its annual Spring Concert at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 2, in the Raymond Munger Memorial Chapel on campus.
The concert is open to the public and there is no charge for admission.
The choir will be under the direction of Dr. Mikael Lindström, associate professor of music and director of choral activities. Dr. Sharon L. Gorman, Walton Professor of Music and university organist, will serve as the collaborative pianist. The program will feature sacred and secular selections, both accompanied and unaccompanied.
Among the selections expected to be performed include, A Boy Was Born by Benjamin Britten; Be Still My, arranged by Benjamin Harlan, Be Thou My Vision, arranged by Dan Forrest; Christ Hath a Garden by Gerald Near; In Noctem by Nicholas Hooper; Lazarus! by Robert Tanner; Song of Thomas by Russell Nagy; This Marriage by Eric Whitacre; and Thy Will Be Done by Craig Courtney.
