A HISTORY (AND A BIRTHDAY) WORTH CELEBRATING!

Founder’s Day is a living tribute to the enduring spirit of Ozarks and the trailblazers who’ve made it what it is today, and on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, University of the Ozarks will mark a monumental milestone—191 YEARS of shaping minds, building community, and inspiring generations.
From its earliest days, Ozarks has stood as a beacon of educational excellence and transformative impact. With nearly two centuries of history behind us, we continue to honor the core values that define us: Service, Justice, Growth, Honesty, Hospitality, and Sabbath
This year we invite students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the University to reflect on our shared journey and look ahead to the future we’re building together. Whether you’re a longtime Eagle (or Mountaineer) or are some of the newest members of our family, this is your moment to connect, celebrate, and be part of something truly special. Check out this year’s events below!
