The Department of Education announced a further delay to release batches of FAFSA information (ISIRs) to schools until the first half of March.
Despite this, Ozarks is aiming to roll out financial aid packages within two weeks of receiving FAFSA information.

Todd Turner Named ASC Player of the Week

Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks sophomore Todd Turner was named the American Southwest Conference East Division Men?s Tennis Player of the Week, it was announced Friday by ASC Media Relations Director Greg Weghorst.

It is the second straight week the Eagles have had the conference Player of the Week winner.

Turner, a native of Pearcy, Ark., went 3-0 in both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles against Texas Lutheran University, Schreiner University and Sul Ross State University to fuel three teams wins and keep the Eagles unbeaten. Turner won in straight sets in singles and teamed with Bishop Bass in doubles. He won 6-2, 6-1 against Texas Lutheran, 6-2, 6-2 against Schreiner and 6-1, 6-0 against Sul Ross State. In doubles, he and Bass earned an 8-6, 8-2 and 8-0 win, respectively. Turner’s play helped Ozarks improve its program-record start to 5-0 and a No. 17 NCAA III regional ranking. He currently owns a 6-1 singles record and a 7-0 doubles mark.

He was named All-Conference in doubles last season and is a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School.

Ozarks will host UA-Pine Bluff in its 2013 spring home opener.
