Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Team Announces Fall 2011 Schedule

Clarksville, Ark.-A pair of home races highlight the 2011 University of the Ozarks men's and women's cross country schedule this fall.

Both teams will open the year at the Memphis Twilight, which features a number of NCAA I schools, September 3. Ozarks will travel to Joplin, Missouri, for the Southern Stampede hosted by Missouri Southern University September 17. Ozarks will host the Ozarks Invitational October 1 in what will be the school’s first home race since the university joined NCAA III. Ozarks will head to Clinton, Mississippi, for the Mississippi College Invitational October 7. On October 19, Ozarks will host its second home race with the Arkansas NCAA III championships. The race will pit Ozarks against Hendrix College.

The American Southwest Conference will hold its championship race October 29 on the campus of Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas. The NCAA III south/southeast regional and NCAA III championships will be held November 12 and November 19, respectively. Texas Lutheran University will host the NCAA III regional.

Head coach Brian Hull enters his fourth year at Ozarks. Ozarks new course is located just south of Interstate 40 near the Wal-Mart Supercenter.
