Clarksville, Ark.-Louisiana College opened the game scoring 17 straight points before Ozarks finally got a basket in Thursday's 83-68 Wildcat win in Pineville, Louisiana.

Holding a 17-0 lead, Ozarks’ Dustin Morett broke the scoring drought with a three-pointer at the 15:33 mark. The Eagles (6-11, 3-9 ASC) cut it to single digits just once the rest of the game. A Marcus Bobb jumper made the score 20-11 with ten minutes to play in the first half. Ozarks had trouble from the field in the first half, hitting 9-of-36 (26%), while the Wildcats (7-7, 6-4 ASC) made 56 percent of their shots to take a comfortable 44-27 lead at halftime.

Louisiana College didn’t slow down early in the second half, leading by 24 points with 13:16 left. Ozarks then made a push to pull within 63-50 at the 8:17 mark. During the 15-4 run, Andre Williams hit two three-pointers and Morett nailed one. Another Morett shot from long-range had the Eagles again within 13 points, but the Wildcats scored 15 points in the final five minutes of the game to secure the win.

Morett came off the bench to lead Ozarks in scoring with 18 points. He hit 4-of-8 from the three-point line. Williams added 15 points and Bobb had 13 points and 13 rebounds.
