University Theatre to present student showcase Dec. 4

University of the Ozarks Theatre will present a one-night performance of the Theatre Student Showcase at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4, in the Black Box Theatre.

The Theatre Student Showcase is a series of more than 20 scenes and monologues featuring student directors and actors.  Admission is free, but seating is limited and tickets will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. The box office opens at 6:30 p.m. and the house opens at 7 p.m. Some of the scenes include adult content and no children under 10 will be admitted.

The production staff includes Walton Professor of Theatre Bruce B. Brown and Theatre Assistant Aaron Bergeron. Student directors are Catalina Ruiz, Clayton Becker and Katelyn Nichols.  Justin L. Hughes is the lighting designer and board operator, Alisha Nystrom is the box office manager, Jacqueline Jurcik is the stage manager, Tori Rhein is the sound board operator and David Pluebell is house manager.

The cast includes, Dalton Williams, Lauren Charters, Gabriela Pena, Utah Robertson, Isabella Clark, Alexa McCamey, John Davis, Shi Ann Manandise, Darrick Conroy, Kincaid McMinn, William Holifield and Annie Williams.
