Clarksville, Ark. ---The University of the Ozarks' Theatre Department will present its final production of the academic year, "Agnes of God," at 7:30 p.m., April 11 and 12, in the Walton Fine Arts Center.

Written by John Pielmeier, "Agnes of God" focuses on a young nun, Sister Agnes, who is accused of murdering her child after a dead baby is found in a convent. Appearing on the surface as an old-fashioned whodunit, "Agnes of God" is really a thought-provoking investigation of the relationship between faith and science, the soul and the mind, and the miraculous and the ordinary. The cast includes India Judd as Dr. Martha Livingstone, Jessica Gay as Mother Miriam Ruth and Diana Farrow as Sister Agnes. Dr. Pat Farmer is the play’s director and Professor Bruce Brown is the scenic designer, technical director and special effects director. Other staff and crew include Misti Ponder as costume designer, Dustin Campbell as lighting designer, Angela Payne as graphic designer and assistant stage manager, Sacha Fincher as sound designer, Doc Harper as house manager, April James as box office manager, Shelly Muston as stage manager, and Ponder and Rachel Richardson as wardrobe mistresses. Cost for admission is $5 per person. Tickets may be purchased at the box office on the evening of the performance. For more information, please call 979-1349.
