The University of the Ozarks' Alumni Association is promoting a new Green Giving Program to assist the university's Annual Scholarship Fund.

The Green Giving Program" src='data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=%22http://www.w3.org/2000/svg%22%20viewBox=%220%200%20210%20140%22%3E%3C/svg%3E' data-src=www.ozarks.edu/give.

"We thought this would be a great way to help our alumni and friends donate to the University while also doing a small part to help the environment," said Reba Pridgin, interim director of development. "Donors utilizing this program will be removed from routine mail and phone solicitations as long as they continue to give in this manner. Also, their receipts will be provided through email. This enables the university to reduce the use of resources and to provide a more sustainable scholarship giving program."

All annual unrestricted gifts go directly into the Annual Scholarship Fund to support scholarships and operations for an outstanding Ozarks education , including small classes, excellent faculty, outstanding facilities, state-of-the-art technology, and many hands-on learning opportunities. Year-in and year-out, the Annual Scholarship Fund is the single most important philanthropic initiative of the University. Every gift to this fund, regardless of size, has a direct and immediate positive impact on students.
