Clarksville, Ark.-With the U of O men's soccer team winning its first American Southwest Conference championship with a 2-1 win in the ASC championship match, the Eagles will play Trinity University (19-0-0), the number-one ranked team in NCAA III, in Atlanta, Georgia, on the campus of Emory University on November 15 in the NCAA tournament.

The match is set for 11 a.m. eastern/10 a.m. central. The five-team regional tournament includes Emory, Greensboro and Piedmont, in addition to Ozarks and Trinity. The regional championship will be held on November 16 at 1 p.m. The men’s soccer squad is the first team of any kind at Ozarks to play in the NCAA championships. Trinity University, located in San Antonio, Texas, is one of the top NCAA III men’s soccer programs in the country. "We are looking at playing Trinity as a great opportunity for our program," said head coach Dave De Hart. "It’s exciting to play a team with such a strong reputation in men’s soccer and to play a team of that caliber. To be the best, you have to be able to play with the best, and that’s the challenge we have in front of us. The guys are real excited to play this match and we want to represent the ASC well in this tournament." The tournament bracket, which includes 44 teams, can be found at ncaa.org.
