The Department of Education announced a further delay to release batches of FAFSA information (ISIRs) to schools until the first half of March.
Despite this, Ozarks is aiming to roll out financial aid packages within two weeks of receiving FAFSA information.

Legislators Help Ozarks Receive Stimulus Funds

University of the Ozarks President Dr. Rick Niece (right) recently thanked Arkansas State Legislators (from left) Rep. George Overbey and Rep. John Paul Wells for helping the university secure $253,429 in federal stimulus money from the State Fiscal Stabilization Funds, authorized under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

 

The University will use the money for energy-efficiency modernization of a chemistry lab and to install energy-efficient windows in the Smith-Broyles Science Building. Rep. Overbey, of Lamar, represents District 69 and Rep. Wells, a 1978 graduate of U of O from Paris, represents District 84.
