
Col. Eric Kremers has joined the University of the Ozarks full-time as the science lab manager in the Wilson Science Center and as an instructor in the health science promotion and exercise science programs.
Kremers has served as an adjunct faculty member in health sciences at U of O for the past two years. He also previously taught at Arkansas Tech University and the American Military University.
“I’m looking forward to integrating with colleagues in the science center,” Kremers said. “I love being part of the U of O community. I will be teaching the intro class in health science and community management of hazardous materials class in the fall.”
He earned a bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine/health physics from the University of Central Arkansas and a master’s degree in organic chemistry with a track in science for disaster response from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He has a doctorate in disaster response from the Uniformed Services University in Washington, D.C.
A native of Clarksville, Kremers is a colonel in the Arkansas National Guard and has served in the military for 30 years. He has two daughters and a son.
