The donation from CenturyTel will help fund the university’s Eagle Alert system, a text messaging, e-mail and voice notification service designed to keep students, faculty and staff informed during emergencies. The Eagle Alert notification system is used to communicate important information during any potential emergency. The service is free of charge for students, faculty and staff to utilize.
