Jeromy Carpenter has joined University of the Ozarks as a maintenance technician. His first day was Monday, Jan. 20.
Carpenter has owned and operated Jeromy Carpenter and Son Heating & Air in Clarksville since 2007. He has more than 25 year of HVAC experience.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming Jeromy to the University’s maintenance team,” said Donny Frost, director of facilities at Ozarks. “His knowledge and experience will be a great addition to the department and to the University.”
Originally from Texas, Carpenter’s family moved to Clarksville when he was 13. He graduated from Clarksville High School and Arkansas Valley Technical Institute (now ATU-Ozark).
“I’m excited to join the University of the Ozarks family,” Carpenter said. “I’ve done several jobs with the University over the years and I know it’s a good place to work and that the University is very community and civic-minded. I’ve also gotten to know the people in the maintenance department and they’re very family-oriented, which I liked. I’m looking forward to being part of the team.”
Carpenter and his wife, Misty, have three children — Devin, Lydia and Dylan — and two grandchildren. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, hunting, camping, hiking and gardening.
