NCAA official to speak on Title IX

CLARKSVILLE, ARK. (March 13, 2006) -- Dr. Darlene Bailey, Chair of the NCAA Committee on Women’s Athletics and Associate Director of Atheltics at Southwest Missouri State University will speak Wednesday, March 15 at 7 p.m. in Rowntree Auditorium in the Walton Fine Arts Center on the Ozarks campus. Dr. Bailey’s talk is entitled "Thirty years since Title IX: Where we’ve come, what remains and what it means for you." Dr. Bailey is a 1982 graduate of William Jewell College, and earned her master’s degree in sports administration and a doctorate in higher education from Ohio University. The lecture is free and open to the public.
