Clarksville, Ark.-Haunted Housing, an Ozarks tradition, includes fun and games, and trick-or-treating tours of several of the university's residential halls and the Mabee Gymnasium.

As they entered the gym, the trick-or-treater’s were greeted by the women’s basketball team. Once they were in the gym, the team had basketball and Halloween games for them to play.

“We did some basketball activities with the kids such as, dribble races, knock out, and 5-spot shooting,” said head women’s basketball coach Christina Jost.

“We also did two Halloween activities which included “Body Parts”, a guessing game and “Follow the Ghost” where the children followed a piece of candy hidden under a cup.”

Senior guard Emma Cantele had an exciting night spending time with all of the visitors.

“You could tell all the little kids had tons of fun,” she said. Cantele emphasized that the event is an enjoyable way to get the basketball team involved with their fans.

“It was fun for the basketball team because we were able to join in with the games and play with the kids. It was a really fun way to get involved with the community.”

Along with Cantele, the entire women’s basketball team passed out candy, played games with the children, and had a great time all night, Jost said.
