Clarksville, Ark. ---University of the Ozarks will be the site of the 25th annual Arkansas Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ACTM) regional mathematics contest, scheduled for Saturday, March 15.
More than 100 students from area schools are expected to compete in six categories: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus and Calculus. The testing will begin at 10 a.m. and will be followed by an awards ceremony. The top three finishers in each category automatically qualify for the state mathematics competition scheduled for April.
