The Department of Education announced a further delay to release batches of FAFSA information (ISIRs) to schools until the first half of March.

U of O graduating class largest since 1991

Clarksville, Ark. --- The University of the Ozarks will confer degrees upon its largest graduating class since 1991 during the university's 171st Commencement ceremony at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 14, on the campus mall.

The Class of 2005 is made up of 129 graduating seniors, the university’s largest since 147 graduated in 1991. The 2005 Commencement speaker will be Paul Greenberg, the editorial page editor of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist. Greenberg won the 1969 Pulitzer Prize for editorial writing and was a Pulitzer finalist in 1978 and 1986. He earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees in journalism and history at the University of Missouri and did further postgraduate work at Columbia University. The day will begin with a Baccalaureate service at 9 a.m. in Munger Chapel.
