Clarksville, Ark.-For the second time this season, Ozarks cross country runners Ashley Teague and Jeremy Provence have been named the American Southwest Conference Runners of the Week.
Teague, from Lavaca, Ark., posted a school-record 20:10.80 to win the individual title at the 5K Arkansas D-III Championships October 19. Teague also led the Lady Eagles to the team crown.
Provence, from Winslow, Ark., posted a 21:10 to claim the individual title at the 4.1-mile Arkansas D-III Championships in Clarksville. He also helped the Eagles to the team crown. Provence has now won two individual titles this season.
Ozarks will travel to Seguin, Texas, for the ASC Championship October 29.
