Clarksville, Ark.-Emily Black?s story featuring the University of the Ozarks athletic department assisting at the 2013 Special Olympics Arkansas State Track and Field meet is being featured all month on the NCAA III Special Olympics web site.
Fans can vote from three stories featured in the spotlight, with the winning school receiving $500 for next year’s special olympics event. Fans can cast their vote at: http://www.ncaa.org/D3SpecialOlympics
Led by U of O’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, student-athletes along with members of the athletic staff joined other volunteers April 25 in Clarksville to help stage events and assist the Olympians in different racing competitions.
