Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks freshman Ryan Holt was named the American Southwest Conference Male Runner of the Week for the second time this year, the ASC office announced Monday.
Holt, from Belfast, Ireland, posted another impressive performance by winning the Ozarks Invitational individual title Saturday (Sept. 28). Holt ran a 26:31 to win the 8K race against runners from two NCAA II schools and one NAIA institution. Holt’s time was the second-fastest time at the Ozarks Invitational by an Eagle runner and the eighth fastest 8K time in program history.
He was named Runner of the Week two weeks ago after finishing fourth individually at the 8K Arkansas Tech Invitational September 14.
Ozarks will run at the Lois Davis Invitational hosted by Southern Arkansas University October 12.
