Kerrville, Texas-The regionally-ranked University of the Ozarks men?s tennis team took a 6-3 win over a ranked Texas Lutheran University team Friday afternoon.
Ozarks, ranked 17th in the NCAA III West Region, also defeated Schreiner University later in the day to move to 4-0 on the season. Texas Lutheran is ranked 18th in the poll and drops to 1-2 overall. Todd Turner and Bishop Bass won in No. 1 and No. 2 singles for the Eagles. Reigning ASC Player of the Week Corey Dillard won at No. 4 singles as did Michael Skimbo at No. 5. Bass and Turner won their doubles match 8-6 and Greg Knaggs and Dillard earned a 8-3 doubles win.
Against Schreiner, Ozarks took a 8-1 win.
