Provence Leads Ozarks To Third-Place Finish

Clinton, Miss.-Jeremy Provence was the top NCAA III finisher at the Watson Ford Invitational hosted by Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi, Friday night.

Provence helped Ozarks finish third in the 8K race with a time of 26:45. Tristan Cooper followed with a time of 26.55 for 5th place and Matt Friant posted a time of 27:53 for 16th place. Trent Ueunten ran a 30:29 and placed 38th. The Ozarks women finished their 6K race with four runners. Tadera Garland paced Ozarks with a time of 26:50 for 30th place. Samantha Sparks was 41st with a time of 28:01. This year’s meet was the largest in the history of the event and 22 college teams participated in the race.
