PBL team has strong showing at National Conference

Clarksville, Ark. --- University of the Ozarks Phi Beta Lambda Beta members took home six top-10 finishes in the 2010 Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference, held July 9-12 in Nashville.

Mayra Hoch took third place in Free Enterprise Project, John Phillips was fifth in Hospitality Management and sixth in Contemporary Sports Issues, Siew Moon Eng was sixth in the Local Annual Chapter Business Report category, and Katie Niskern was ninth in Information Management. The U of O chapter received second place in the Largest State Chapter category. Hoch was also named Who’s Who in PBL in Arkansas. Hoch and Tony Fernandez received career and membership achievement recognition.

Other U of O chapter members attending the national event were Laura Hoffman and Janine Armstrong, along with advisers Phyllis Johnson and Cindy Lanphear.
