Johnson County Judge Mike Jacobs (seated) recently signed a proclamation declaring Nov. 15 as Free Enterprise Day in Johnson County.
The American Free Enterprise Day is set aside for student organizations such as Future Leaders of America (FBLA), Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) and Enactus to celebrate a country that allows participation in open commerce. It also encourages others to learn more about the importance of a free enterprise system. Both PBL and Enactus have chapters on the Ozarks campus.
